About Comviq mobile broadband
Comviq is Tele2's low-cost brand and therefore runs on Tele2's network – one of Sweden's most extensive 5G networks. Their mobile broadband is aimed at anyone who wants a simple, wireless home broadband without digging, installation or being tied to an address. The offer is stripped back and price-driven: unlimited data, high speed and a router included – without a pile of add-ons to keep track of. That makes Comviq one of the most affordable ways to replace fixed fibre with mobile broadband.

Detailed review
Price & value
This is Comviq's strongest card. For around 299 kr a month you get unlimited 5G data at up to 1000 Mbit/s, and a 5G router that would otherwise cost several thousand kronor is included in the offer. There's also a cheaper option at up to 100 Mbit/s for anyone who doesn't need top speed. Campaign prices apply and the standard price is higher – always check the current price at comviq.se before ordering.
Considering what you pay for the same speed with a router included, Comviq is one of the most affordable options on the mobile broadband market.
Coverage
Comviq runs on Tele2's network, which covers around 99.9% of the population and just over 90% of Sweden's land area. One important thing to know: Tele2 and Telenor build and run their 4G and 5G networks together through the jointly owned company Net4Mobility. In practice you therefore get largely the same coverage with Comviq, Tele2 and Telenor – so the choice between them isn't decided by the network, but by price, router and terms.
A practical tip: if you already have a 5G phone on Tele2's or Comviq's network, you can measure the speed where you want the broadband – you'll get roughly the same speed with the mobile broadband.
Router & hardware
This is the very reason we highlight Comviq in this category. A mobile broadband that's going to replace fixed fibre stands or falls with the router, and with Comviq a proper 5G router (Huawei 5G CPE 5) is included when you sign up with a fixed term. It delivers wifi to the whole household, handles many devices at once and only needs a power socket to get going. That means no digging and no buying hardware separately – you plug in the router and you're up and running in minutes.
Speed & performance
With the 5G router you reach up to 1000 Mbit/s, which is enough for several people in the household to stream, game and work at the same time. The actual speed varies with the distance to the mast, how many people share it and where in your home the router is placed – ideally put it high up and near a window for the best result.
App & digital experience
Comviq has an app where you can see your usage, manage your plan and reach support. Since the data is unlimited, it's less about monitoring your usage and more about simple oversight and getting in touch when needed.
Customer service
As part of the Tele2 group, Comviq has an established customer service with support via phone and digital channels, plus a large help section on the site. The service and availability are what you'd expect from one of the larger players.
Contract terms & flexibility
The router offer requires a 24-month fixed term – that's the price for the low monthly cost and the router included. As a distance purchase, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Data is unlimited but applies within Sweden, so this is a home broadband rather than a travel option.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Possibly the market's lowest price for 1000 Mbit/s with a router
- 5G router included – replaces fixed broadband right away
- Unlimited data on Tele2's well-developed 5G network
- Easy to get started, no installation visit
- Cheaper option at 100 Mbit/s for smaller needs
Cons
- The router offer requires a 24-month fixed term
- Data applies within Sweden only
- Fewer extras than the more expensive competitors
Verdict — Comviq
If the goal is to replace fixed broadband as cheaply as possible without compromising on speed, Comviq is hard to beat. You get unlimited 5G data at up to 1000 Mbit/s and a router included, on Tele2's well-developed network, at a price at the bottom of the market. The cost of the low price is a 24-month fixed term – if you can live with that, you get a lot of broadband for your money.
Best for: Price-conscious households that want to replace fibre with mobile broadband · Anyone who wants 1000 Mbit/s and a router at the lowest possible monthly cost
